CGIAR ‘Voices for Change’ short film inspires visions of the future

A short (4:25-minute) film, ‘Voices for Change’, produced by the Fund Office of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), was launched at the CGIAR 2009 Business Meeting in Washington DC.

This video aims to inspire CGIAR stakeholders to shape a future that they want to see through the work of the CGIAR and partners on pro-poor agricultural research for development.

Several staff members of the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, are in this film, including ILRI director general Carlos Seré; Jagger Harvey and Appolinaire Djikeng, both of the Biosciences eastern and central Africa (BecA) Hub, which is hosted and managed by ILRI; Joerg Jores and Jan Naessens, both scientists in ILRI’s Biotechnology Theme; and Moses Njahira, laboratory manager at ILRI.
