The Helmholtz Research School MICMoR on Mechanisms and Interactions of Climate Change in Mountain Regions offers a structured graduate programme for PhD students in the field of Climate Change research.
Fellowships will start on October 1, 2014. They will be awarded for a period of 12 months with an option for an additional 24 months. Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of € 1365,- plus an allowance (of 50% max € 100,-) towards health insurance. Fellowships will also provide supplemental funding for graduate training in the context of our research focus.
Successful applicants will be required to take up residence in Southern Germany (and will be affiliated with KIT/IMK-IFU or with one of the MICMoR Partner Institutions). They will participate in the MICMoR Graduate Program including summer schools, technical short courses, professional skills courses and opportunities for networking.
