Peste des petits ruminants (PPR), also known as goat plague, is a highly contagious viral disease of sheep and goats. The disease causes heavy losses especially in goats and has been described as one of the most damaging livestock diseases in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Impacts of innovation platforms on smallholder dairy production

The ‘innovation platforms approach’ is an effective way of establishing systematic interactions among stakeholders in the agricultural sector by stimulating technical, institutional and organizational innovations in agricultural value chains.
